Inventory Reports and Check Ins

All our property inventory reports are compiled using the latest technology to ensure we meet the evolving high industry standards. We include a combination of detailed descriptions of property contents, as well as the property condition at the time of the visit. This is accompanied by clear digital photographs that can be enlarged to view in closer detail within the report. The inventory report photos can also be viewed separately from the written document for easy scrolling. 

We can collect keys from your letting agency or home address before our visit. Any decoration or maintenance works will need to be completed prior to our attendance. We recommend the inventory is carried out at least 48 hours before a tenant moves in to ensure the property is in order and the document is fully completed and ready for the tenants on the check in day.

*If conducting an inventory only service, we recommend taking meter readings on the day of check in as well. We will test the smoke and CO alarm to ensure these are working and can be replaced in time for check in if we find that they are not. These will also need to be tested again on the day of check in.

Check-ins

We can arrange to meet your tenants at the property on the day they move in and go through the inventory with them. A signature can then be obtained by the tenants on the premises if the inventory was conducted prior to the check-in date. We can also hand over the keys if required. 

For tight turnaround tenancies. we also offer the inventory and check-in as a same day combined service if completed at the same time. We cannot obtain signature from the tenants if completed on the same day, however we  will contact the tenants 7 days after check-in if we have not received their signature on the completed document.
